Mindful Verses provides free-to-attend, two-hour meditation and poetry writing workshops, designed for older adults.
We are pleased to be running a new series of these sessions throughout 2026 at the White Hill Centre in Chesham.
Run by poet and musician Jon Bickley, and clinical psychologist and mindfulness teacher Reinhard Kowalski, these workshops aim to reduce stress, anxiety, and depression by promoting relaxation and mindfulness, while stimulating cognitive functions that help to maintain memory and critical thinking skills through the process of poetry writing. They are also a great place for social interaction with like-minded people.

While each session is free-to-attend, please note that we are limited to 12 places per session so we do ask that you kindly book in advance.
